悪くはないのですが，あの城のデザインのマンホールカバーの方が私は好きです．

Let's get back to the secret purpose of this blog: uploading the photos that I took during the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. This is the one that I took after visiting the castle of Ponferrada. I prefer the cover with the castle to this one.

城 / Castle

カストリージョス・デ・ロス・ポルバサーレスCastrillos de los Polvazaresという小さな町で見つけたもの．
テンプル騎士団の城塞があったことで知られるポンフェラーダPonferradaの水道局に管轄されているのでしょう．巡礼した当時はここから歩いてポンフェラーダまで2日かかったので遠く感じましたが，たかだか40kmもない距離ですから十分あり得る話です．

現在のポンフェラーダ城は外側の城壁部分と塔が残っていて，塔に登ることができます．

This is the one I found in Castrillos de los Polvazares, in Spain. On the surface, there's a name of Ponferrada, which is about 40 kilometers away from Castrillos. The distance seemed too long for me walking the Way of St. James .... Ponferrada is known for the Templar Castle. I went up one of its towers. More about Ponferrada.
